With my Bean catalog beside me, I see that you should look at the Shearling slippers now in the flip-flop style.
Unfortunately that is usually the case if you need REAL shearling. I am allergic to synthetic fibers and the fake-fleece lined stuff make my feet sweat even if they are all but literal icicles. NOT fun, anywhere...

I constantly keep watch for "knock off" Uggs (real sheepskin, less moolah).

Mermie, they NEVER wear out!! The only thing that happens to them is I wear them SO much I wear off all the shearling inside where my feet rub. And that takes 3-4 years! lol You DO get your moneys worth out of them. They're MUCH better quality than Bean's and I bought those for 20 years. I'd never go back to Beans for slippers now. I have NEVER worn the soles down on the UGG's. NEVER. They wear like iron... or like Bean boots!!!

The bean slippes wore out on me in one season. So, the $90 is economical even though it's a big hit up front. You can't ever keep your toes 'too happy' imo!

PS - they're too hot in Ft. Lauderdale! I only wear flip flops down there!!

Oh yeah, that's gonna really keep your wife warm in the night air as the house burns down. Not exactly what you want her wearing outside when the whole town comes over to help put the fire out.

Mind you, my hubby's friends are all in the fire department! That'd go over really well.

Two of my all time favorite gifts. My digital picture frame and my YMCA membership. The frame provides endless conversations all starting with... "Mommy look at the picture frame..." The Y gets me healthier and swimming in winter is sublime.

Cute, robhu. If you'd prefer something g rated, I was just at walmart's site building a cd for a friend's wedding music. You can put up to 2 hours of her favorite songs on a cd and personalize the message on the cover as well as pick the cover design. Neat service. They also do a gift message and gift wrap. Wrap is extra. The first 3 songs are 4.62 each and after that only.88 a song.
