Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank you all for sharing your beautiful pictures of Maine. I don't live there (I hope it's ok that I'm posting here) but I have fallen for the beauty of Maine just through pictures alone. I hope to be able to visit someday.

7th, most impressive pics! I'd be willing to bet many Mainers don't know that this method of 'logging' is still being used in the woods of Maine. These are great shots!

7th, I just love those pictures. They evoke such a feeling of Maine and what's special about it. It brought back memories of a horse my neighbor had when I lived in Costigan. I thought he was beautiful and I remember adults saying "oh that's just an old work horse." Thanks for sharing those, they are awe inspiring.
