RMoore, our vanatage point was on Valley Ave in a less exciting stretch of the stream than you visited. We enjoyed it, though. We did see a few spills, but mainly some very interesting characters. The kids got a kick out of it! We enjoyed the day with Maine Writer & family and KiddinAroundFarm and her hubby. It was a very nice day.

El, in Webshots when you click "link to it" a window will open to let you copy the URL. Make sure you click the 600 pixel box to get the largest image possible, then copy that code.

Edit: Yep I just checked yours and you are posting the 100 pixel image.

Thank you!! I got a few more while we were working in the yard this afternoon. You know my tree that washed up a couple of weeks ago? Well, it's got a face only a mother could love! And I just found this woodpecker on a tree - never seen one like this. Pretty!

Me too. It's not if I fall over, it's how many times?

El...sounds like you all had a nice day. I liked all the characters too. I'll need to think what to wear next year for my first ever canoe spill, I mean race.

7th Gen....is that you on that custom bike? Lookin' good man.

Today's sneaky visitor...I think it's a chimpmunk. Olivia says it looks JUST like Alvin, so it must be a chipmunk!

It is a chipmunk (ground squirel), you don't want those little dickens getting into your house and nesting, they can be hard to get rid of and destructive. We had a problem one year after the DH started feeding "the cute little things". It was like a Donald Duck Cartoon,.. with Donald Duck chasing Chip and Dale. Lot's of cussing................ *#@&%*@($*%&%!!.
