Sweet deal!

During the process of taking in 'sealed' bids, the guy taking them in does have access to what those bids are, and exactly how high a bid needs to be to win.

The idea that at the last minute the councilman decided to change the name on the bid from his to his wife, sounds to me like the nail in a coffin.

Well this is the final straw for me.....I'm outa' here!

I will not align myself with crooks and thieves anymore!

Recently I've been diagnosed with peccatiphobia, alas it seems appropriate to leave now.....

Goodbye.

7th so sorry to hear that, I do hope you can get treatment for that.

I tend to have bouts of Anachrophobia myself.

I found however that moving to Maine has greatly helped my Luposlipaphobia.

If the guy taking the bids has access to what they are....why are they sealed? It was my experience when working for a community development department that contractor bids were unknown until I actually opened them. I had my own estimates but had no knowledge of what their bid actually contained. Also, aren't these auctions usually held by banks or attorney's? And don't they usually have a minimum bid?
I hope this guy and his wife enjoy a small unit at the county jail!!!
