Yep, he's very much part of the Monroe community. I'm just glad he brought his awesome pizza restaurants over this way. He's had a presence here for as long as I can remember. Back in the early 80s I would go to a Johnny's in Bossier every now and again. It was soooo good, and still is. I live in Haughton now, but we have one over there as well so it's all good!

Talking Johnny's is the best

Johnny's is by far the best pizza in northern Louisiana. I am a little biased though. I've worked for them for almost 8 years now, over half of that as a manager and Johnny is my relative. But even if it weren't for those things I would still have to say it's the best. All of our ingredients are fresh and we make our own dough daily. No frozen factory made stuff in our restaurants. We have very high standards that all of our employees must follow and we do everything we can to please our customers. No, you won't find $5 pizzas at Johnny's....but that's okay....you get what you pay for!

No wonder we couldn't find it!!

Next I'm going to Lake Charles, Lafayette & Baton Rouge in Apr. or May sometime with my same friend John from The Monroe Experience.

Most of his kinfolks live in Lake Charles.

Thanks for the tip & talk to you soon!!

Yes, Johnny's is the BEST (tho only) pizza U've ever had in Northern Louisiana or Louisiana itself!!

A friend from Bossier who is a "young marrieds" preacher at Prestonwood Baptist in Plano where I attend sometimes sez he loves Johnny's & that it's the best pizza anywhere!!

Most times I attend Cottonwood Creek Baptist in Allen which is 5 min. from where I live in McKinney.

Most recently I lived in an apt. in West Plano across the street from Prestonwood back when I went to Prestonwood every Sunday.

Both Prestonwood & Cottonwood are great churches with great members/people!!

above post about hysterical laughter concerned the fact that Johnny's Pizza House #6
I was looking for in Monroe was in fact in Winnsboro.

Another strange fact is that at the start of the Monroe trip we went to see a first cousin of my mother's late father in Winnsboro, TX (pop. some 4000 on a good day).
That's the only Winnsboro I've ever been to. I've also not been to Winnsboro, SC (pop. some 3500) or SC itself for that matter.
