Are there any taxi services that accept cash after they drive you to your destination? What about Uber, does Uber only accept credit cards? How much would a trip thats 40-50 miles distance cost with either of these services?

Uber has a fare estimator that you can use to get a quote on how much your fare would cost. If you were to use a regular taxi service, it would cost substantially more. Why don't you want to use a card?

Having a credit card, builds up debt. And keeping up with fees on a pay as you go card is a lot too.

No it doesn't. I use credit cards and never pay interest. Uber also takes debit if that's what you're worried about, credit/debit is one and the same when it comes to accepting payments.

Uber doesn't accept most prepaid cards.

Call a bunch of taxi companies and find out which take cash. I assume some still do and some still prefer it I'd imagine.

No mention of prepaid cards. Credit and debit cards (attached to your checking account) work though.
Also, is anyone under the assumption they can only make the MINIMUM PAYMENT on credit cards? Use it, pay it, done.
