I am really surprised you would put crappy Arco gas in your car. I would not even put that in my Escort. Only use Shell, Chevron or Texaco gas since they are the only Top Tier gases in Nevada. I only go to Shell myself.

Costco is usually near the cheapest and it's good gas. Tanker trucks nearly every day.

Nope, cheap crap. It is not a top tier gas.

Top Tier Gasoline
Back in Orlando I always used to go to Texaco, their gas have Chevron's "Techron" in it. Made no difference to me

And premium gas is a waste of money. I did a little test for myself on my drive out here. In Western Louisiana I was almost empty so I bought some premium gas. Didnt last me any longer and my car didnt run any better then it would have if I bought regular

I didn't know Arco was crappy gas LVD. I just went where it was cheap. I didnt want to go to Terrible's at Ann and 95 and pay $2.85 a gallon when Arco was $2.69, I just dont like the $.45 transcation fee they charge me whenever I pay with my debit card, they did the same thing to me in Tucson

I also noticed Funny's is $2.74 when you pay cash, debit or credit is $2.79

You will not notice the difference in a tank, it is over time. I always put good gas in my car. My car runs excellent as always because of it. I have always known to stay away from Arco since we were infested with them in Phoenix. Maybe this thread will help....

has anyone noticed arco gas sucks? my gas story - Scionlife.com

You're spending too much.

A friend of mine is insanely into cars - they're his entire life. His job is a cameraman, primarily for auto races. Every book in his library is about cars. He has multiple car magazine subscriptions. His daily driver is a high end Porsche. The guy is a bona-fide car nut.

I asked him once what gas he recommended for a "regular" car - he said that Arco is what he suggests. I was surprised at the time, but I don't doubt his opinion one bit - he's easily the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to that sort of thing.

The "Premium" label on gas is a marketing tactic. You're actually likely to get worse mileage, if it's different at all. Spending the extra 10 or 20 cents per gallon is a pure waste of money. Engines are designed to run on fuel with a specific octane level, and you should use fuel that's at the level recommended by the manufacturer.

Here's how it was explained by another friend of mine, who has his PhD in theoretical chemical physics (and he also drives a high end Porsche - dang, I have some friends with money! ) The more octane you have in the fuel, the slower and more evenly the fuel burns. This is good for high performance cars that are highly tuned and expect their fuel to react and burn at a precise rate. "Every day" cars are designed more for economy, low maintenance and longevity, and don't have the same expectations of their fuel. Putting fuel with a higher octane rating in these cars is just a waste, and could actually cause fuel to be wasted, since it's burning slower.

As for where the cheapest gas in the valley is, does it really matter? Are you going to burn half a gallon to go half way across the valley to save 90 cents on a fill up? Identify the stations most convenient for you, note which one has the best price and buy your gas there. Going very far out of your way to save a nickle or dime is a wash at best, usually.
