Is this the best shopping mall you'd ever been to or what? How did it go? What stores did they have? What did it look like? Would you recommend it?

The general consensus is it sucks, and is not worth going to.

I couldn't find the Mrs. Fields Cookies or the Hot Dog on a Stick, so yes, I'd have to agree that it sucks.

It's barren and empty. A few high end stores with minimal offerings. Too much empty space.

For me, the quality of a mall is judged by their bookstores.

It reminds me of a trendy New York art museum. Not quite the Guggenheim, but you get the idea.

To be fair, I haven't spent a lot of time in there, so I may not be the greatest judge. It's open, airy & anti-septic. Just doesn't feel like Las Vegas. Shopping at the Venetian stores or Forum Shops at Caesars at least still feels a LITTLE like Las Vegas ... Crystals, not so much. Maybe they're going for that higher-end demographic that wants New York chic. If so, more power to 'em.

I visited X-mass day and agree it is horrible. We were looking for a restaurant or bar to hang-out in but to our suprise, there is only one and it didn't open until dinner.

No way will locals support this and I don't see enough rich & stupid people visiting Vegas to make these shops profitable. I predict MGM will need to re-think this one.

In that case, you might be the one person to love Crystals. They have a rare books store that sells collectible, antique, and other hard to find books.
