Because Best Buy is much closer to my house, and I didn't feel like driving to the other side of town.

Nice try, Best Deal in Town owner/manager. Sounds like a haven for stolen goods.

Check out Amazon Warehouse Deals. Also since this thread's creation in 2008, 32" LCD TVS are dirt cheap everywhere now.

I have a 32 inch Vizio 3D that I bought for around $380.... Love it.. But if you are looking for a 32 inch they run about $280 to $330 for an LED......But I would go to a bit bigger size as the cost is NOT much different.....

The first place I look for TVs is Costco. Likely the same out there.

I find Spring Break is a really good time to buy TVs. You can get $50-$75 discounts because during that time manufacturers are making new models and trying to get rid of older inventory. Best Buy and Costco are legit.

I love how a thread from 2008 gets resurrected. In 2008 a 32" flat screen was expensive. Now you could get one for less than $200. Even better go on Craigslist and get a "throwaway" for around $100.

Last year I paid $429 @ Wal-Mart for a 50" 4K UHD TV. Still bummed that there is so little 4K content out there but there is some. One day there will be more.

For that matter, a 43" 4K Hitachi is available at Sams Club for like $350.
