I am trying to figure out how to access the premium channels (Starz) HD on-demand. Cox tells me to go to channel 799, but that is for pay movies and that is not what I want.

I want to watch the movies that they show on Starz HD, on my demand. I have accessed it once but I don't know how I did it and I certainly can't figure out how to get back. I know that I did use the button on the remote.

I know that it is not accessed by going to channel 1 or 799. Any help is appreciated.

You need to go to Channel 1, that's where your On Demand shows are, ALL of them!

I've also been wondering about this.

For the last few months, pressing the 'on demand' button on the remote took you to the standard definition 'on demand' menu, while going to channel 699 took you to the 'HD on demand' menu. The HD menu didn't have the premium channels, only HD movies for purchase.

After reading the original post, I checked out channel 699, and it now has all the standard definition selections along with a Freezone HD selection. The paid HD movies have dissapeared, and there are still no Premium HD channel selections. Pressing the button on the remote niow takes me to the same menu.

Anyone have better luck accessing Stars HD on demand, HBO HD on demand, etc...?

To all the Las Vegas residents with Cox Cable HD, how do you like it and how much is it?

Contemplating on getting Cox Cable HD, but I do not know if it's a better deal than satellite just yet. I haven't really begun my research.

I have it and love it, but I have not had satellite, so it is hard for me to compare the two. We have had it in our home for years. Really like the DVR, who ever invented that is awesome.

Hubby likes it for Howard Stern In Demand. We were thinking about maybe switching to Direct TV, but they do not have Howard so it was a no go. LOL
