hello all. while going to vegas to finish up my bs degree, i want to get a part time job that will help at the very least pay off my 358 dollar a month car payment. so to fix that, i will get a part time job. i was looking at frys electronics since my aunt works at the burbank branch and (of course being an employee there) said it was a good place to work.

but ive heard otherwise. low pay, (which id expect for a part time position) bad benefits, and overall, frys isnt that good of a place to work at.

anyone have any input to this ?

either way, im not picky for a part time job. its just id prefer to work there since i have computer and general electronics experience from working with my cousin and would prefer to work there. thanks in advance for the input.

I think the best thing to do would be to apply, take the job and see for yourself. Then you can find out if the rumors are true or not.

I also saw on tv the other day that Sitel is hiring again. It's a call center for Cox cable. Support. They start out with split shifts 4 hours in the morning, 4 hours in the evening. You get a $50 or $100 bonus for every person you refer that gets hired and makes it thru a month. After a month you get to pick your hours or just work a full day. (so ive heard) Sitel is way over off of Eastern i believe, close to or in Henderson.
