I will be attending my 2nd CES convention in January 2013. I was just wondering who else is going from the forums? What are your favorite booths, lectures, partys, etc.? Any tips on how to get the best freebees?

Three years ago when I attended I really enjoyed the car stereo and speaker section, some pretty amazing rides/girls. The only decent free thing I got was a creative mp3 player.

Cheers

I am registered but not sure if I am going. I sell electronics as a sideline to my main business so thought I would maybe check it out.

If we ever get our short sale another guy and I planned on going and doing some renos to condo before and after the convention.

Will watch this thread to see what everyone says about CES.

I go to SEMA ( car parts one ) and that is awesome to do.

Every year CES gives out extra passes to the Air Force base. Probably no more than a hundred to spread among a couple thousand people. I think my chances of earning/getting a ticket next year are worse than winning the Mega Millions jackpot.

I was just going to ask how hard it was for a average gadget lover to get in. I guess I will stick to the lottery.

If you are not registered yet, it is pretty pricey to get in. However, I heard that after the first day or two, people just throw their passes in the trash. Grab one and walk in, they do not check name or anything.
