I just closed on a condo in Mountain's Edge yesterday. I was told by my real estate agent some time ago that water is not covered by the HOA. However, when I went to transfer the account, LVVWD told me that these condos don't have individual accounts and there is one bill sent to the HOA. I have to call the HOA in a few days to verify my address once the paperwork is completed. However, in the meantime, I'm curious:

do HOAs actually rebill for water? I'm new to this..... Thanks.

Both condos I own have water included in the HOA dues. I imagine the HOA gets one water bill and pays it because they take in enough to cover expenses. I have never received a water bill or trash bill. Call your property management company and they can probably confirm your water and / or trash is included in your dues. Congrats on closing your condo. Mountain Edge is a good area to buy.

Check your CCN'Rs That should be addressed in it. You were given an hoa package to look over what the responsibilies are besides rules, and regs and reserves ect.

My water is billed through my HOA. I am billed for the actual water used, plus a $5 fee for reading the meter.
