You're going to get reamed no matter where in the US you take them. US banks don't give good rates. And they act like it's a hardship to buy currency.
Normally, I'd offer to buy them from you. But I don't have much confidence that the Euro is going to be around in a few years to use them. Today's rate is 1.32:1. What are you looking to get and how many Euros do you have?

I go to Europe a couple of times a year; in fact, I'm taking a cruise from Miami to Malaga next month and then spending a couple of weeks in Spain after desembarking in May. Not an answer to your question, but I know you can get euros at Citibank, but don't know about exchanging for dollars. You sould be able to. Might be a better rate. It takes two or three days going the other way. We don't pay a fee at Citi so we got our euros there, but exchanged them for dollars at Red Rock Station at a loss. Been wondering if you can deposit them in a bank account.

Yes -- if the bank normally deals in Euros. Barclay's is good for that sort of thing. And they have branches everywhere I'm likely to go.
