Well, good. Unless the train terminates in Los Angeles, or at least Anaheim, it's just the Las Vegas Monorail on a grand scale.

I'm all for trains. It's my favorite way to travel. But trains need logical endpoints. Victorville doesn't make any sense.

it does if you're scary harry reid and just HAPPEN to own some of the land the train will pass thru....and just HAPPEN to be in the pocket of the people that want the train

All of those underemployed Hookers in Hollywood and LaLaLand could cruise the train stations at every stop along the way. The economy would boom. Victorville would be the new DisneyLand.

I have to agree with you. Victorville is not a good start/end point for a train to Las Vegas. Los Angeles to Las Vegas would be the best train route IMO.
