Don't know much about the memory foam...tried it at the store and didn't like it...but that's just me.

I've slept on them in a few hotels around the world. I'm not a fan of them, but plenty of people are; it is a personal preference thing.

Checked out Mattress Firm - they are a rip off. Average prices are 30% higher than you can get online, including shipment charges!

We got our Sealy Posturpedic Pillowtops from a shop next to the Del Taco, at Craig & Losee. Dont remember their name, but they had free delivery (he said they had multiple stores & a warehouse in the valley), a very nice selection in the showroom and the guy threw in a lot of freebies, sheets & pillows, and those little stuffed sheep with the numbers on them.

Buying a mattress is like buying a car! Be ready to go in a haggle. Come prepared and do your research or the products you like and prices you've seen. Go for a place that delivers and takes the old stuff away and it will make life easier for you. Make sure that is all included in the price!

Good point. Another plus for sleep number bed is that they give you a 30-day trial period to try out reall sleeping on it...and in your own house, not just laying on a mattress in a store.

Agreed with 30STM about the memory foam not being a "breatheable" bed. That's what turned me off to it.

Not cheap. Starts at $699 and goes up from there (see link I posted on page 1). 18-months interest free financing is offered...with no interest if paid in full within 18-months.
