I just discovered the wonderful world for craps... still learning, but that is an addictive game.

I'm trained to deal every game in the casino. Except craps. I have absolutely no idea how to play or deal it. I think I may like to learn it when we get out there.

besides poker and an occasional spin at the roulette wheel when I am simply bored, craps is the only game I play. I just can not seem to justify any other game.

From what we were taught in dealer academy, Baccarat has the best odds. I find it a little slow for my liking, but dealing Macau style in the high roller room was my favorite gig in the whole place. Personally, I'm a Pai Gow Poker nut. Love it, although I know the odds aren't the best. I don't play to make money, I play because I like to play. If I make money, that's a bonus So I find the game that is most enjoyable for me to play and have a ball!

I went through a stage were I discovered controlled throwing. I actually had a little success out of it, but then I discovered poker.

If you're going to play craps, look into this. It may very well not work, and I wouldn't play craps just to do that. But if your playing anyway, it can't hurt, and could help.

Don't bother with dice control. It takes lots of practice to do well and every place knows how to spot it and counter it. Play poker or BJ for advantage play. Play craps for fun.

The casinos don't think it works, so they generally don't bother you, as long as you don't slow down the game.

I agree that poker is better. Any BJ advantage play gets tremendous heat, and, with autoshufflers, most of the advantage play opportunities have been eliminated.

Depending on the casino's tolerance for losses and managements attitude to sweating players. Somebody winning can easily get backed off a dice game and made out to be a switcher, slider, scammer or what ever b@llsh@t they want to make it into. Seems like mid evil old school table game management tactics from the seventies but unfortunately it still goes on to this day in some of the houses on the strip.

I did this for a while, never got a whiff of heat, and the dealers knew exactly what I was doing. And I had some success doing it. Then again, I never played for big numbers.

I get it but also I don't believe in dice setting. If its working for you then more power to you. What I was trying to convey is that table game managers don't need to see that your up to no good to be backed off a game. If they feel that your winning session is a threat to that days hold. Your throw may look a little funny or your not consistently hitting the backboard could result in being backed off due to the CSM own ignorance using emotion instead of logic.
