I just moved to Las Vegas and would like to hear all your opinions about the tattoo shops around town. Thanks.

Some of the casinos have shops within them but I imagine that because of the location the prices are jacked up.

From another forum I'm on this is what I read:

"T at Hart and Huntington at the Hard Rock is great tattoo artist. Twig at Vince Neil Ink, there's some people from Living Dead Tattoo, Aaron Neiman at Pussykat tattoo, anyone at Starlight Tattoo."

I'm going to be checking these out as well as some other off the strip. It's time for new for some new art but I may wait until the weather gets a little cooler. That way I'm not exposing fresh ink to the harsh sun.

If you find anyone / any place that you really like please share and I will do the same.

Last Chance Tattoo & Stay True Tattoo. I'd avoid the tv guys and rock star owned ones in the casinos.

My wife and I just got our first tattoos done at Club Tattoo in PH. They both look great. I had Krystof. He made me feel right at home and we talked the whole time. Didn't feel anything like I thought it would at all. I got mine done in the back room and my wife got hers done right out front. She had John Blaze and he did an amazing job on hers too.

My guess is that you overpayed for Krsytof and Blaze. Their names even sound expensive. If you don't mind posting...or me asking...how much did you pay?

We paid $550 for both. Price didn't matter. We wanted great work and they came out perfect.

Hey MarkimO, I was wondering if you had any pictures of you and your wife's tattoos that you got from the shop you mentioned.

Here are the pictures. Let me tell you about them. My mother passed away in March. She wasn't sick but went into the hospital for a minor routine operation and got an infection. She fought it for five weeks but it got the best of her and she passed. I am an only child and it hit my wife and I very hard. There is a song called The Crow and the Butterfly from the band Shinedown that is about losing someone close to you. As soon as she passed we knew we had to get something done and the song means a lot to us so that is where the idea came from. I know not everyone will like the tattoos but we didn't get them for anyone but us. They came out just the way we wanted and are very happy.

Very nice...and such a beautiful joint tribute to your mom. Sorry to hear about her recent passing in such a sudden and unexpected way. Hopefully, this act will bring some needed peace and closure.
