Bargain-hunting Vegas friends:
I got an E-mail announcing half-price food and draft beer at LBS "A burger joint" at Red Rocks Casino. The offer was for M-F, 3 to 6 p.m., so that counts as lunch in LV, no? PLEASE NOTE: The E-mail did not have a cut-off day for this special, so definitely call ahead to check availability if you're just going for the food. 702.835.9393.

Also at Red Rock ...
The Yard House, which opened there about a month ago, has some excellent Happy Hour food and drink specials before 6 p.m. I had a very good pizza for less than $6 there this week.
Lots of TVs, indoor and outdoor dining ... nice place.

It's Red ROCK, not Red RockS, as in Red ROCK Canyon. Red RockS is in Arizona.

We ate at LBS and were very disappointed. Not up to the hype at all. You'll get a better burger at Red Robin. And I think Red Robin is a lot cheaper.

Agree with Buzz, we've eaten there twice just because they were comped. Just another burger joint IMO. Plenty of other burger joints that do the same thing just closer to the house.

Yard House wasn't bad, nothing spectacular to make me wanting to come back anytime soon.

Hachi which is the japanese fusion place in between them is probably the best restaurant unless you want to spend some dime then you go to T-Bones.

Tried LBS before catching a movie. I thought the burgers were good, almost like Red Robin. I really liked the zucchini fries. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again, but if there was a deal or discount I would before another movie.

I spent $42 at LBS for two burgers and two soft drinks. That's a bit steep for something that is at best, only average. Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay is much better.

I prefer the former seafood restaurant than the current burger joint in its place. We've had good meals there, too bad the seafood restaurant did not work out.

Yardhouse is a good addition to Red Rock Resort, we frequent the place often and I like the Red Rock location over the one at Town Square.

Salt Lick BBQ is pretty good.

I don't like sweet BBQ food.
