Anyone have recommendations on which are the nicier places to live in St Augustine? My budget is 600K or under, and looking for houses with some Character, and from searching on line, having a hard time finding any homes I like. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I would suggest Sea Colony and Anatasia Dunes in St. Augustine Beach. Both have charming architectural styles. Sea Colony is an ocean-front community. So you'll find extremely small lots, and to stay under $600K, you'll be looking at the smaller cottages. You should still be able to get 3-4 bedrooms and maybe 2000-3000 sq ft though. Across the street in Anastasia Dunes, you'll find similar architecture, but slightly larger lots accented with beautiful trees. You'll be able to get a larger house too for the same money. I actually prefer AD to SC because of the beautiful trees. I hope this helps! Search in zipcode 32080.

Do you have a local realtor yet? He/she would be able to pull listings and e-mail for you to look at. If you need a recommendation I can DM you.

Be careful...some realtors around here will tell you anything to close the deal. Send me a message if you want a recommendation. She's really familiar with listings on the island. I've been working with her for over 2 years. Clearly, she's patient and won't push you into a bad deal.
