Does anybody know of a good pet groomer anywhere in jacksonville? I have a standard poodle that I am extremely picky about and I have retired from grooming myself due to health reasons..

I will tell you one place not to go...Petsmart on Blanding. There was a groomer just yelling at this dog. It may have been trying to nip at her but it was still outrageous.

I just started cutting my own Bichon Frise's hair since I didn't want someone screaming at my dog.

I live in Orange Park so I don't go too far up North (to Jax, that is).

I wouldnt take my standard poodle to Petsmart anyway.. Their groomers are NOT top notch in the industry so to speak.. (lack of proper training in most cases) although they are trying to improve so I have heard.. WHEW Bichons are a lot of work! (Spoken like a true ex groomer lol)

I can recommend a groomer on Fleming Island if that's not too far for you to travel. She's a perfectionist, listens well to owners and abides by their wishes, is competitively priced, and for me the best part is that she only has one dog at a time (no caging). Let me know if you'd like more info.
