What's the best part of Mandarin to live in? Cleanest/nicest/safest?

I like Scott Mill Road area for nicest...some of those houses are real budget-busters though (have an extra half a million laying around? ).

I like Scott Mill Road too ...I grew up there and my dad still lives in the same house - 34 years now. Beauclerc Rd is nice too. If I were moving back to that area I would go west of San Jose and north of Mandarin Rd (where it turns to the east).

Arguably the "best" area of Mandarin is the area surrounding Mandarin Rd. and Scott Mill Rd & Beauclerc. Realtors consider Scott Mill/Beauclerc to be properly Beauclerc as opposed to Mandarin. But there are also very nice areas off of Julington Creek, also Hood Landing. Actually most all of Mandarin is considered to be good area, with only 1 or 2 subdivisions that might be considered "wanting"
