For argument's sake, now that the house has pushed for tightening of the yuan, let's say the US and China enter a trade war that dominates this decade.
What are the commodities that could see a sea change in the resulting arm wrestling?
I'm betting on REE's and HREE's. China could use the REE's to muscle control and that should push these prices way up. I see opportunity for stocks like Lynas (Oz) and UCore (Canada), both of which lie out of reach for the Chinese.
