Lately I have noticed that Facebook shows what articles my friends have been reading on AOL, Huffington Post etc. and I am not sure if this can happen to me by just randomly clicking and reading.
Does one have to actually "like" the article or another function, or will news articles I read randomly and click out of post on the newsfeed for all to see?
If they will, I may give up on FB for good. The invasions of privacy get worse and worse.
Ya- I knew that. They know all about my Pottery Barn and my Sephora. I don't like it but... having all the articles you click through posted? It has not happened to me but I don't know what you do or do not do.
If anyone knows...thanks
As far as I know, you have to give permission to a social reader Facebook app for any of your reading activities to show up. This is what happens when I try to click on their article links:
I do think BLOCKING 3RD PARTY COOKIES RENDERS THIS USELESS.....
