I live in Spring near 45 and yesterday my car (which was parked outside) was covered with green pollen-like particles. It was so bad that the air actually looked hazy. After the rain today, the particles are quite visible in puddles. The two white rocking chairs on my front porch even look green. My boys and I are horrible allergy sufferers, but this doesn't seem to have an affect on us. Any idea what this could be? My guess is some type of pollen~ I guess the science geek in me is just a little curious. Thanks.

The pine pollen is starting and its particles are actually quite big relatively speaking. It can get really bad, especially when the wind is from the north, that it leaves little drifts of pollen along your windshield wipers.

Like Steve said, it's pine pollen. My cars are covered with it. It only lasts a week or so.

Makes sense. I've got four pine trees in the front yard. Thanks for the info... I've never seen anything like it!
