My friend stored his freakin power-washer in my good, new shed and it leaked gasoline out all over the wooden floor.

What is the best way to get the stink out permanently??

I would dump a bag of kitty litter on floor and grind it in with my feet, clean litter up,vacuum and than mop with mixture of bleach.
kitty litter ground in on oil stain on concrete works also.

Just clean the surface and let it evaporate.

That's what I would suggest also. Maybe consider keeping the shed open for a week and running a fan to get air circulating.

Thank You.

Yes, it's a shed... but it's the good kind that look like a small house.

We have another metal shed that is used for the lawnmowers etc.

This is used for household goods as i do not have a basement or garage.

If it still available a paste mix of Trisodium Phospahte will absorb the oily gasoline out of the wood. Its a old gunsmiths method of aborbing oil and other such things. Might have to be applied several times tho.
