I found this red 2012 lx honda civic for $15,581 out the door at the dealer, Is this a good deal or not? Has about 8000 miles on it. Was previously owned by a leasing company.

I get a KBB value of about $15.2K. So it sounds like your OTD price may be decent. Hard to say without knowing what is tacked onto the price of the vehicle to get at the OTD price you were quoted. (How much in fees, taxes, etc). The more of those, the better the deal.

Doesn't seem too bad. You might want to send them an offer and see what their counter offer is. Never know unless you ask.

It's alright. Perhaps good, depending on local supply & demand.

But keep in mind that they have plenty of wriggle room on that car. More than likely, they have between $10k-$12k in it.

True, I have been doing my research , the 2013 seem like a much better model for it interior. I'm not really impressed with the interior of the 2012, very cheap looking inside. The problem is the 2013 is only hundreds less than 2014. Im wondering if they could come down to around $14,000 which should included everything. The car fax says it only has 27,843 miles remaining or 27 months on it. Do you know what the typical warranty on a car is?

The deal looks ok ... just make sure all the recalls are taken care of by the dealer: Honda Civic Recalls - Auto Recalls for Consumers

It wouldn't hurt to offer a few hundred bucks less. Honda "bumper-to-bumper" warranty is 3/36.
