Maybe those romans weren't so ancient after all .

The mosiac below was painted during the 300's A.D. at the Villa Romana del Casale in Sicily. Looks like the female on the left is holding 5 lb dumbbells .

Well, the weren't called "The Dark Ages" because we did a lot of progressing.

It's still pretty tame compared to plenty of Pompeii Murals showing gratutitus sex scenes and very well hung gentlemen, however... and I got a kick out of the bathroom grafitti too. We are more like the Romans than we care to admit.

ha, I've seen them in person, some were on the wall of a Roman brothel (complete with "private service rooms"), some where in a villa of, I guess, some swinging Roman's bachelor pad. I can post some pictures but I don't think they would last long before removed.
Ancient Roman porn - some things never change.

They are probably strapping their breasts because they are athletes. I see it as more akin to sports-bras than bikinis.

Isn't classical/neoclassical art porn, including Michaelangelo's David?

No. Unless I misunderstand the definition of porn and the changing values of Western society vis-a-vis perceptions of nudity.

Nudity doesn't equal porn.

Come to think of that even a depiction of a sexual porn does not equal porn - video medical books. I think the law requires "intent to arouse".
