In my last post, I said I wanted to live somewhere with good weather. I've looked at Savannah and Richmond Hill stats. as well as Brunswick , Brunswick looks beautiful but the Crime looks terrible

So this is kind of what I'm looking for in a community / city.
*Beaches/lakes/watery area
*Green, lots of trees and parks and stuff
*Good shopping( like Targets, malls, etc)
*Coffee shops (ex: Starbucks)
*Good eating/nice restaurants
*Nice weather
not a whole lot crime and not to far from a major city.

I'm going to still go visit Richmond Hill, "Golden Isles" part of Georgia along with Cumming to see what it's like. But any ideas or suggestions would be great.

Arrow I notice you live in Alpharetta

Visiting different areas of the state is a good idea. You aren't far from Cumming/Buford/Lake Lanier>>>

Cumming, GA>>

From recent posts I have gathered that real estate in the Golden Isles is getting expensive --St. Mary's, St. Simons, Brunswick, Glynn County.

I know Richmond Hill is growing--might be located in Effingham County--more rural than metro Atlanta.

Maybe Jacksonville, FL would be a location to consider?

sls

I think you've narrowed it down to some good choices. Good Luck!

I've lived in Brunswick for a year and crime has not been a concern for me. As with any city, there are parts of town that are less than desirable, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I'd say that Brunswick meets all your criteria. AND if money is not an issue, why not cross over the causeway to St. Simons Island?.....virtually no crime at all over there.
