Can anyone recommend a good apartment complex in Conyers, GA? We'll be moving to the area next year and want to rent before we decide if we'll purchase a home there. I've been reading reviews online for some places and what I've seen so far isn't great. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks.

Ehhh conyers area has really went down hill in the last 10 years. Do you absolutely have to move there?

Conyers is a good community with good hardworking people that is a good option for people who want the suburban lifestyle but with a limited housing budget.

Conyers and Rockdale County is a good option for people who work along the I-20 East corridor and/or for people who might not be able to buy into larger and more high-profile metro Atlanta counties, particularly on the much more crowded and much more high-demand Northside.

In a Northside-oriented metro area/region like Atlanta, Conyers and Rockdale County (along with much of the rest of the greater Southern Crescent) often gets looked down upon and/or gets totally overlooked for not being as affluent or as high-profile as the Northside.

But even though they may not be as super-affluent or as high-profile as the Northside, Conyers and Rockdale County can and do still provide people and families with at least a decent-to-good quality version of the suburban lifestyle. It may not be anywhere near as highly-touted as the Northside, but its not bad, either.

Doesn't have to be Conyers. I'm open to Stone Mountain and Lithonia, too

I'm not all that sure that expanding your search to areas like Stone Mountain and Lithonia will do too much to improve the quality of the apartment complexes that you will find.

Stone Mountain, Lithonia and DeKalb County as a whole have even higher transient populations than Conyers and Rockdale County.

So one probably should not expect general apartment quality to improve much, if any, as your search expands westward into heavily-transient DeKalb County.

Though, because of the increased population and amount of development there, you will have many more choices of apartment options to choose from than you do in Conyers and Rockdale County.

Just be mindful that because of the vastly increased amount of apartment options there, the quality of apartment complexes that you in DeKalb County will be even more 'hit-or-miss' than you may currently be finding in Conyers and Rockdale County.

Could you tell us a little more about what you're actually looking for? Where you'll be working? Do you want to be around younger people or is an older population ok? Public transportation?
