FUN THINGS TO DO IN SWF & LEE COUNTY Great thing about Lee County is that everything from Everglades City up to Sarasota are day-tripable. We rented a condo near the south end of Fort Myers Beach and every evening people would go out just to watch the sun set.
A few times we were at Times Square around sunset. People would bring out their chairs and others would line up along the pier. I guess most of them were tourists, but they sure seemed to appreciate the simple pleasure of just watching the sun disappear beyond the horizon.
