I live in New Jersey & I am moving to Cape Coarl, Florida. I work for the county here in New Brunswick. I work for the Board of Social Services, which is, we help people see if they qualify for Food Stamps or if people need health coverage for families, children, or pregnant women. I was wondering if there is something like that down in Florida that I could possibly transfer to.

They do- however jobs with the state are far and few between in the Ft. Myers area. I would look into EmployFlorida.com and Home

How long have you worked for the state in NJ and what are your qualifications? Down here the geriatric population has the most jobs available for social services.

Try the Florida Government Jobs web site. You can search by county. Or go to the individual county web sites and search.
