I was wondering if anyone had any contact information with Suntrust. My niece has an offer on a short sale with them.

I looked in prior threads and didn't see any contact info.

Also has anyone ever gotten a short sale approved with them? If so any advice?

Here's what I was able to pull up googling them. It's their mortgage division. SunTrust Mortgage, Inc. No experience with them myself but this has contact info.

If I understand that to mean that your neice is not the seller but the buyer, Suntrust is not going to speak with her unless she has written permission from the seller.

I wasn't sure which side the niece was on only OP wanting contact info. But, as always, palmcoasting you're correct in your response if the niece is the 'buyer' not the 'seller' she would need written permission from the seller b4 they would speak with her.

I am 4.5 months in to the buying side of a SunTrust short sell. The BPO was finally completely last week and the selling agent was just assigned a "Mortgage Default Specialist Negotiator" from SunTrust. Does anyone have experience buying a short sale/sell from sun trust or experience in dealing with the negotiator?

At least you are at the BPO/Negotiator stage, my short sale (I'm the seller) has been in review for months with SunTrust. I am now on my second offer since the other gave up.

Well my house sold in March (started the process in Sept 09)...of course I was advised that in order for it work, I had be behind in payments, so 120+ days late, credit is tarnished.

To future buyers STAY AWAY from any sale dealing with Sun Crust...We are buyers and it has been 9 months since we made an offer.

9 months people, and the short sale is still going on, if they are so incompetent with this, you can only imagine how they are with everything else.
