The wildly popular Ford F-150 pickup truck with its family of Super Duty siblings is second only to the iPhone when it comes to branded consumer product sales.
I owned an F-250 Ford and loved it, what a truck. My only problem with new Ford trucks and for the matter new Chevy trucks are the cost. I can't justify $40,000-$65,000 for a new truck especially if I'm going to use it as a truck an not just transportation.
They tried to bring Mahindra into the US and failed. Safety and emissions standards did them in. It won't be any easier this time around and if they do make it the cost will be well north of $10,000. I wouldn't be surprised if it was $20k.

There is currently no need to pay that much. My 2017 F150 XLT with the 5.0 Coyote had a sticker at $46,500, but I got it for $36,000 and change. Currently our local Ford dealer shows several 2020s but with the 3.5 V6 discounted to just over $36,000.

"Safety and emissions"?
No, the auto mafia that sells trucks for $40,000 and doesn't want competition from $10,000 Indian or Chinese trucks.

We actually have a Chinese mini truck at one of our properties, but it stays there, and is not street legal. I have passed by a place that sells them in Seattle.
