Evening all. Hubby is out of town tonight so it is Red Meat night. Woo Hoo. I think we are having something simple like sloppy joes. It is really hot here so nothing too fancy as I don't want to heat up the entire house.
Tired from a day of yard work! Ate a big lunch of leftovers. Tonight a big tossed salad with bacon on top (sorta a BLT but not a sandwich); rice on the side for my DP.
Location: Lots of sun and palm trees with occasional hurricane :)

My spaghetti with OO, garlic, cayenne pepper, brocolli and left over chicken breasts came out G O O D!!!
Question. I stopped off at Winn Dixie to pick up the pepper but I didn't see Red pepper flakes anywhere, in any brand. Is it the same as Crushed Red Pepper?

I, personally, use them interchangeably. Don't quote me but I think they are the same thing but I could be wrong.
vp-yes, crushed red pepper is red pepper flakes. When you use freshly ground black pepper together with either the ground red pepper (which you bought) or crushed red pepper they compliment one another. Dinner sounded great!
