Well tonight's dinner will be different. We have a TON of snow and our power went out about 45 min. ago and has not come back on. No microwave, no oven, no stovetop, light by weakening flashlights. The kids are eating frozen uncrustables, bananas, milk, whatever. Not sure what hubby and I will have, frozen uncrustbales just don't sound good to me. Live too far from anyplace that delivers, screwed!

We had kielbasa and rice and zuchinni cooked with a little onion and tomato. It was good. I used a little cider to steam the kielbasa after first browning it just a little in oil.

Good morning all and boy how I missed everyone.

Needless to say I've been "out of it" since Weds. morning. Starting to feel human again, face is still pretty swollen, pain is bearable-each day a better day.

Thank you for your concern and especially to Cyn. MovingToH-hope that shoulder gets better soon.

Well, a bit off topic here but go get some of that cream called "Sports-Cream". I swear by that. That is the name, "Sports-Cream". last time I got it it was in a green tube and you can get it at almost any drug store. I can't say for sure it will work for your porblem but I use it for all kinds of things and so far it has always helped. Hope you feel better today---take it easy!

Welcome back LaceyEx! We've missed you too.

Okay, back to dinner ideas.......I have no clue yet but will post once I figure out what I'm going to make!

Welcome Back Lacey!

Good morning everyone!

Last night we had the chicken baked in Zesty Italian Dressing! It was pretty good....DH loved it. Kids and I could do with or without the dressing - maybe I'll try a different one soon. Thanks for the tip!

Who knows tonite - I have conferences this afternoon for my son - then my daughter has a game this evening - and in between I'll be running around! We'll probably have a fend for ourselves night.

MovingtoHouston - hows your shoulder and neck? UGH - I feel your pain - hope its getting better.

MsJones - Loved Lost - can't wait for more!

Hope everyone has a great day!

We have to be out of the house from 3 to 6 (house inspection) so we will probably take the dogs to the dog park, go for a walk, and then when they are good and tired, leave them in the car and go out to eat! Sounds good to me.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. Laceyex glad you're a little bit better. Shoulder and neck still bothering me but not as much. I still don't have full range of motion when I turn my head and it really hurts when I try so hopefully I won't have to drive anywhere today.

Cyn- we have something similar to the sports creme, its called biofreeze and my dh put some on yesterday and I about died. Stuff didn't stop working for over 2 hours ick.

Back on topic.....dinner tonight bbq chicken in crockpot with mashed potatos I think.

Oh - I love mashed potatoes! I don't need anything else! Just potatoes. Or pasta.
