So I have lived in Phoenix my entire life (30 years). I am sick of the heat and the city. I'm married and we have a 3 year old son. We would like to be settled into our permanent home by the time he starts kindergarten, so we are now looking at places to settle. My wife is from Iowa, so she doesn't mind a place with snow, I am from Phoenix, so I would welcome the snow with open arms. We both work at home so a place with jobs isn't a worry. We are laid back and prefer a nice dinner somewhere with a movie at home, so going out on the town to party isn't a concern either. We are just really looking for a nice laid back quiet town that is safe and good to raise a family in. I've been checking out Flagstaff mostly, but all I find are people angry about hippies and native american gangs? But also looking into Sedona or Prescott. I am open to any other suggestions but mainly wanting to hear from people who live in either of the three, or have lived and what they would suggest? We take day trips to Sedona often and always have a great time there. Thanks! Looking forward to hear what everyone has to say.

Ah, well were lookin for a place thats about 3 bed and 2 baths for around 1200 a month, wouldnt really wanna go higher than that.
