BINGO!

Being short myself, I prefer 3/4 sleeves to long sleeves. Long sleeves are either too long, too uncomfortable or get in the way. I'm also a fan of elbow length sleeves and cap sleeves--neither of which are that popular now.

A bigger problem for me is that ALL--and I do mean ALL--tops are too long and not wide enough for me. Doesn't matter if their petite or not. Us hippy gals are virtually ignored by the fashion industry. Once in a while I get lucky in the junior department as tops there tend to be shorter.

What bugs me is that the standard for 3/4 tee tops is either a vee neck or boat neck style. I like scoop necks and they're virtually impossible to find both in short sleeved and 3/4 sleeved tee. I have a white J. Jill scoop neck oversize tee top I got at a consignment store that I absolutely love. It's a boxy size M and comes just over my hips. I've tried to find another "plain white tee" just like it but no go.

I like short sleeves or long sleeves. Rarely do I wear half sleeve sizes and I don't like 3/4 at all as I don't like to layer shirts at all.

I prefer 3/4 sleeves to long sleeves. I'm glad I live in a climate where I don't have to wear long sleeves.

In high school I was The Giant Walking Sequoia Tree, eventually shortened just to "Tree". I didn't mind Tree so much. My ninth-grade math teacher called me The Giraffe. It was pretty awful because I was dealing with the horror of being 14 and six feet tall, but years later I realized it was his issue from being a rather short man.

I liked three-quarter sleeves because then I wasn't the only person who looked like her sleeves were too short, lol.

I don’t mind them. Even though I’m tall, sleeves are frequently too long on me.

Mighty queen....I was almost the tallest girl in high school too. God bless Dolores Wondolowski, who was just a bit taller than me.

I read your post and thought of the tallest girl in my high school class (many years ago). It’s interesting because even though we weren’t friends, I remember her name. See, there is an advantage to being tall and memorable. I also recall that she was beautiful!

I love them too! Maybe because we are short?
