Last year, I bought my cousin in Puerto Rico an IZOD Advantage Polo in a Small size, and it still ran large on him. I had to exchange it for an XS, which the options are very limited, plus that size is pretty hard to find (I had to buy it from Amazon and they only had one left in stock at the time I ordered).

I am considering buying my cousin another polo shirt, but am open to other brands. I don't want to spend too much money, however, does anyone know some reasonably priced brands of polo shirts in a Small size that do not run large? Chaps, US Polo Assn, and Nautica might be options (although Nautica is priced slightly higher).

Nope, never have. I am asking which brands of polo shirts in a Small size do not run large. I would like some brand suggestions on for my cousin.

I am usually a size XXL, and I know IZOD, Chaps, Nautica, and US Polo Assn are true to size for me. However, for my cousin, IZOD's Small was too large on him. I'm not sure if the same is true for the other three brands in a Small size.

Bonobos sizing is very consistent and as-expected to me. one of many reasons I use them. I cannot speak to their polos as I don't really buy polos. But I have gotten dress shirts, t shirts, short sleeve button ups etc. and They all are cut well and they offer a variety of fits.

Lands End's shirts run smaller than other catalog retailers do, in my experience. And some retailers offer a more tailored fit in their sizes.

I wonder how are their shipping rates to Puerto Rico and if their return policy is as generous as Amazon's. Since my cousin lives in Puerto Rico, I'm not sure if they are the best option. With Amazon since I am a Prime member, I can send it to him directly for free (Amazon offers free Standard Shipping to Puerto Rico for Prime members, similar to what they offer for Hawaii and Alaska, except free shipping is not available at all to Puerto Rico for non-Prime members).

JCPenney is an option since JCPenney has stores in Puerto Rico and I can send it to him myself. In addition to IZOD, JCPenney also carries US Polo Assn.
