They have groups for these people on You Tube. They have 1-3 month hair grow videos and time lapse 1-5 year hair growth videos. They tell others keep on growing or why not start now to see if you like it? Kinda like a challenge or dare and emotional support. Some pledge will do for 1-2 years , or til they can't stand it.
Some do hair care tips or admit they do nothing special.

Some of the guys joke they fear they are turning gay when they see another man become more beautiful when they grow their hair long. Personally I doubt they really want sex with them, but might want some like-minded friends to hang out with. Do any of you think it's good (long hair freedom), bad, or don't care?

Youtube has videos and groups for just about everything, so you have to remember that just because there are a handful of Youtube videos doesn't make it a trend.

Also, the fact that some men feel uncomfortable with themselves when they see something physically attractive about another man (which obviously isn't going to change their sexual orientation) is nothing new. Not every man feels this way, of course, but culturally a men is typically less secure about telling another man something looks good on him. On average, this is less of a big deal for women (again, a very generalized statement that doesn't apply in every single case).

Long hair has gone in and out of fashion for men for centuries, so I don't really see this as anything new.

I do not care. I think it for the most part looks ridiculous, but I do not hold it against them or anything.

I do not think it is a trend, men having long hair has been going on for many, many years.

Not a trend, it's been going on since forever.

I hope it's not coming back. I greatly dislike "man buns" which just look stupid.

Okay, maybe one in 200 guys looks good in long hair, but most don't.

They are uninformed, no one told them the 60s are over.

The old guys who are bald on top and have a grey pony tail are really dorky looking.

I've noticed the guys who sport this look are corporate types (maybe men who just retired) who seem to do this for a bit of a "rebellious" look, but they are the very people who have the hardest time pulling this off, and the results are as you describe.

Along the same lines, what about the good ole' 1980's mullet on men?

My husband has long hair, but it's also very thick and full. Plus he's got the facial hair to go with it. He has that Jesus look down pat.

I'm sure there are similar videos for long hair on women. We all have to learn to take care of our hair.

I'm fine with long-haired men and short-haired women, and everything in between.

I like my hair short because the time i spend on it is time i'm not spending on something else like work or considering the consequences of my actions or what another person requires of me. to me long hair is an unnecessary complication of my day lol
