I'm one of those people that HATE taking pictures b/c I know I will rarely ever look good in them.

Digital pictures are especially bothersome.

When I look in the mirror, however, I feel like I look great and am happy with my appearance.

When I see myself on video (ie. I was just in a wedding video), I look the same way I see myself in a mirror.

So, what should I base my looks on??

This is probably a strange question, I know, but being un photogenic STINKS!

Ladies/Gentleman - anybody share the same dilemma?

THANKS!!

P.S - for some reason, my driver license pictures always come out great!

Media can be pretty weird. Look at Robert Wagner, an early studio actor, but it was television that was his medium.
I had this fifty something grizzled carpenter on site and every photo took was good. The camera loved this guy.
Video may show your energy level, and a photo probably doesn't??

I think it's the lighting....some photos (especially indoors) I look awful....outdoor photos are usually better.....but I agree, being unphotogenic sucks!!!!

I can relate.. I'm not very photogenic either, so I don't like taking pictures that much. When I do take a really good photo, I will spend hours staring at it in disbelief lol.

I look like a fat grump in my pics, till a kind lady taught me how to pose. Now my pics look slightly better.

My drivers license pic makes me look like a hardcore inmate. You are not supposed to smile on NJ licenses.
