[quote=Ottawa2011;35011130]What's in your stash and why?

My favourites are same as yours!
  • Coach (the mid-priced leather ones are both cute and professional)
  • Dooney and Bourke (the colourful synthetic ones actually appeal to me more than the leather styles)
  • Louis Vuitton (for durability, they are true investment bags)

Coach -no logo, just leather. I have two that are fabric and the logo is very dicreet, so I am keeping them.

Dooney-I have the frist one I ever bought in 1985.

Gucci-can't part with them but I haven't carried them in a long time.

Prada-fabric with leather trim, they never wear out.

I can't wait to hit the thrifts in Palm Beach and get me some LV and Chanel. And a Mulberry if I can find one.

I once went into a Dooney and Bourke outlet store just to browse and ended up buying a colorful bag. I now own 6 D&B bags, 4 of which I got at the outlet store and 2 that I ordered online. 3 of the bags are suited for colder weather and 3 for warmer weather.

Recently, my husband got me an Henri Bendel bag (the store just opened and a sale was going on). That's one classy looking bag that is good for all seasons!

I prefer custom purses. I have them made for me by some wonderful artisans on Etsy as my budget permits. I would much rather have a unique handbag made just for me, exactly the way I want it, than a mass produced designer handbag just as expensive (or much more), that looks exactly like thousands of others.

Mod cut: Orphaned (quoted post has been deleted).

Two years ago I purchased Luggage for my wife and myself.

My wife loves Louis Vuitton handbags so I buy her a couple each year. One for her birthday, another for Christmas or for an anniversary present.

We have a separate section of our bedrooms walk in closet devoted to her handbags

She also has some very nice vintage Gucci, and quite a few Gwen Stephani L.A.M.B. bags as well
