I love this little park especially because it has the football goalpost. Does anyone know of any other parks open to the general public that have goalposts? In the dark recesses of my mind I think I have seen at least one on the east side of town but I just can’t remember where (or even if)? Thanks for any help

Original poster here answering my own question in the off chance there is another human being on the face of the earth that actually cares about the answer. Ponder Park behind Burges High School has a pair of football goal posts open to the public. So if you drive by and see a fat, old, gray haired guy kicking field goals stop and say hi to someone who likes your city so much he moved here TWICE!

Sorry for not replying. I’m at Ponder three times per week. I just never noticed the goal posts before.

No problem. The joke was ultimately on me. I had been to that park many times the first time I lived here and totally didn’t remember they were there until I rode by them the other day.
