hello,

I want to ask how can I improve my English skills,as I'm a new immigrant and if the scale is from 1 to 10 my English is in 4, and my main issue is with speaking and the grammars.

Also do you think that there is a good online courses so I can attend in?

Best regards

Where in NoVA are you?

I know a lot of the public libraries offer free conversational English classes. Arlington and Fairfax courses are linked below:

When you are home, you could also watch a lot of movies on TV for general conversational help. Just stay away from crime/gang movies, teen movies and comedies.

Watching movies on TV will enlarge your vocabulary in a passive way. You need also to interact with people. Try to make an American/English speaking friend that doesn't speak your native language and meet them on a regular basis to chat. You could do this by joining a club or social group of some kind.

Soap Operas (telenovellas) are great too. They tend to speak slowly.
