Tuesday Katie my 2+ year old pem corgi gets spayed. Question...is there any type of anesthesia that corgis are sensitive to?
I fostered for corgi rescue for ten years, and a number of them spayed and neutered while in our care. There were a couple individual dogs that had (fortunately minor) reactions to anesthesia and/or other drugs, but overall we had no issues with the majority of them.
Hope all goes well for your girl....
Cheeper! because I bred 10+ years ago & even tho I am now on disability I get no breaks.
The vet I use is large animal & does not spay dogs..he recomened the vet that is spaying Katie. Yes I am nervous since I lost a sheltie because of being spayed by a idit vet. that is why i ask this question.
Thanks. It was really an added sadness because we got that dog the year we were married.....even before we had kids! He was our first "baby!" HA! And he was always SO good with the kids when they were little.
Thanks guy/gals Katie was spayed 8am this morning so far all is well.
