Hi All,

Have anyone of you purchased a house in Preston Hills Frisco with Megatel or Lennar.

Can you please give your recommendation regarding a builder Megatel vs Lennar?
This community have High Voltage towers, cellphone tower and apartment complex in and around it. Are there any negative health concerns due to High Voltage and cell phone towers in close proximity? Is it a big negative for resale. One of the thing I like is quick access to Preston road.

It is a small community, not a master planned community like Prairie View or Miramonte, Or do you recommend Prairie View ( American Legend ) over Preston hills.
Will appreciate your responses, Thank you.

I had to google where that was because there is a Preston Hills neighborhood in Prosper (been around since at least the 80s) and I was confused. I wouldn't buy there. It's a very small community and it's very close to Preston/380. One of my high school friends used to live in one of the houses facing Preston just south of there, so I know the area well. There is a lot of retail going in at that intersection and I would be worried a Target or some huge shopping center would be built right behind the neighborhood. You should probably check Prosper's P&Z department online to see what that area is zoned for if you're still interested in the neighborhood.

Thank you for your input but are we on the same page? I am asking about the new built community “Preston Hills” , builders Lennar & Megatel , on Preston Rd. and Rockhill Rd. in city of Frisco.

American Legend is head and shoulders better than the other 2 builders you mention.

I'm talking about the same place. I was initially confused because of the neighborhood in Prosper I mentioned with the same name. I still wouldn't buy a house in Frisco Preston Hills.

For sure! I would not consider Megatel, and Lennar is hit or miss.

Thank you for the reply, have you sold homes by American Legend in Praire view, how was the experience and feedback from a homeowner.

from your real estate experience, is it bad for resale if apartment complex and high tension wires are part of a neighbourhood.

Thank you for the response, I am getting mixed reviews regarding Megatel. What are some major concerns with Megatel?

High turnover of builders due to overload. I have a friend(in sales) that works their now. Some of the builders carry 30 plus homes. Just leads to mistakes.

What he said.

I've seen several American Legend homes, they are currently building in a few sites in Prosper (although at a higher price point) and they look like they have their act together. My aunt just bought a home by them, she moves in next month.
