I am shopping for a house in 75013 area. My realtor strongly recommended star creek, which according to her, is a five star community. Could anyone who knows about star creek share your opinio with me? Thank you.

I dont know too much about it. I do know it is a fairly new community and from what i have heard is nice. I believe it is owned by Jerry Jones and his family, the owner of the cowboys so im sure money has been put into the development. The homes range in prices from the mid $200K up to around $800K+. I dont do too many sales in allen but from word of mouth it is a nice community, just depends on what your price range is and what you are looking for as ammenities and community features. Also, depending on where you work, Allen or Dallas, the commute into and out of the area during rush hour could be rough. Good luck and hope you can get more feedback from someone who lives there.

Star Creek is nice; nothing stood out, but nice. Highland and Darling both build there in Star Creek.

I did however think it was a bit too far North. It's almost like once your that far up the 75, Stonebridge becomes a possibility (taxes are about the same).

My favorite spots in Allen were Montgomery Farms and Twin Creeks.
