How long does it take during rush hour to commute from Mesquite to Downtown Dallas? From looking at google maps, it seems the best way is to take 80 to 30 or maybe military pkwy? Can anyone give any estimates?

I've noticed many old posts on here, but wonder if it has changed.

You would be commuting into downtown with the flow of traffic so 2-3 minutes per mile is a pretty good rush hour guestimate.

30 is the most direct route into downtown.

If you live in the southern part of Mesquite (south of I-30, including east or west of 635), you can take 635 to 175, and 175 north to downtown Dallas fairly quickly - in less than 25-30 minutes (that's from say...635 & Scyene) on average.

Military Parkway is also about 25-30 minutes (from 635 & Scyene/Military) on average.

I-30 is probably the longest route, with 25-30 minutes about 1/2 the time and 45 minutes or longer 1/2 the time. Traffic is very volatile on I-30...so you never know what you're going to get on a day to day basis unless you watch the traffic reports in the morning.
