Yes it was early this year because of the warm spring. But so far I've been disappointed, especially by the butter and sugar. Usually young corn pops with flavor and texture. What I've tasted from stands like Sandy's in Cos Cob and Eden in Stamford is mushy and not full flavored. Am I just going to the wrong places?

My parents said that the corn from the stand in front of the Veterans' Memorial Park on Park Ave. in Bridgeport is delicious this year.
