This past weekend I went for a hike along the Palmer Lake Trail. I only found this trail because I recently bought one of those teeny tiny Day Hikes guides, otherwise I never would've realized the trail existed. I highly recommend this spot for anyone! For anyone interested in Palmer Lake, here's a peek at how beautiful it is -

Waldo Canyon (trailhead on Hwy 24 just West of Manitou).
Cheyenne Canyon (numerous trails. I like Saint Mary's Falls and Seven Bridges. Mount Cutler is a nice kids or beginners' walk).

My daughter and I went hiking up to the two Palmer reservoirs. People were easily catching trout.

So where exactly are these spots? Went to Palmer Lake over the weekend and only saw the main lake with the playground and we walked the trail a little bit but not knowing where we'd end up or where we were going we turned around and walked back. We ended up going to Pikes Peak Crystal reservoir instead for fishing. I'd like to know where these spots are and where we should have gone.

It is a hyperlink to a the south end of glenn avenue in Palmer lake. Here it is explicitly without being a hyperlink: (take out the quotes)

That hyperlink goes tot he same general location. i have a screenshot image of the the map area in question.
If you're walking from the Palmer lake loop trail, head west on upper or lower Glenway from 105 and it will take you straight onto the trail toward both reservoirs. But you can't drive that way because there is no parking where Glenway meets the trailhead. If you're driving, follow the directions noted a few posts above this one.

Hmmm, you're right....Not sure why that happens. I tested it when I first posted and it worked...now it just centers on 80132...some sort of timeout on the life of the URL or something....
